About Jejudo Seafood(원조 제주도횟집 뉴저지)

Nestled in the heart of Palisades Park, a culinary treasure awaits. Jejudo Seafood, located at 452 Broad Ave, offers a delightful escape into the world of Korean seafood cuisine. It's not just about the dining; it's an experience that captures the essence of South Korean island-style cooking. Entering the restaurant, a sense of sophistication balanced with comfort is felt, thanks to the warm wooden decor and gentle sea-themed accents.

The menu is an adventure in itself. Start with the Haemul Pajeon, a crispy seafood pancake that maintains a loyal fan base. The dish comes perfectly cooked, with a delightful medley of scallops, shrimp, and spring onions. The Samhap, a dish featuring fermented skate, boiled pork belly, and kimchi, offers a daring mix of flavors, contrasting the sharp with the savory. The stews, particularly the Maeuntang, a spicy fish stew, warm the soul with every spoonful, skillfully blending fresh fish with ripe vegetables and a kick of spice that doesn't overwhelm but rather heightens the taste.

Reviews from fellow diners consistently praise the freshness of the ingredients and the attentive service that accompanies the meals. Patrons often mention feeling at home despite the bustling atmosphere. The Banchan, perfectly complementing the main courses, provides an authentic taste of Korean home-cooked meals, adding extra layers of flavor to an already vibrant dining experience.

Located conveniently in the vibrant area of Palisades Park, Jejudo Seafood garners a diverse clientele. It's not just locals who flock here; seafood lovers make the journey to savor what many argue is the best offering outside of Jeju Island itself. The place often bustles with chatter and zest, a testament to its popularity, yet managing to offer a personal touch to the experience.

Jejudo Seafood ensures that freshness is never compromised. There's an apparent care in the selection and preparation of each dish, which resonates with those who enter. The inviting presence of the staff further elevates the dining experience, turning a meal into a special occasion. For those keen on experiencing a piece of Korea's rich culinary heritage without booking a flight, this spot serves up an unforgettable trip down flavor lane.

It’s a Korean style sashimi restaurant. At the beginning, a variety of dishes, rolls, and fried foods are served. The main dishes are fresh and in appropriate portions, but the initial dishes feel a bit underwhelming. I think reducing the variety and focusing on improving the quality would be a good idea. However, I also believe that Koreans enjoy having a wide range of dishes, so it might be a cultural preference.

I was skeptical about this restaurant because there are many bad reviews. However, it was totally opposite from the bad reviews. Food were great. Price was little less than Bada Story. Please find attached picture because it shows the quality. Kinds of seafood was more variety than other korean sashimi restaurants. Will definitely come back. Please be cautious when you split the check. Tip amount on splitted check is from total amount combined so you need divide the amount.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and despite being a bit on the pricey side, the taste of the food was absolutely fantastic. The service was exceptionally satisfying, and the staff members were incredibly friendly. I particularly ordered a traditional Korean dish called "mulhoe" (cold raw fish soup) which is usually enjoyed during the summer season. To my delight, it tasted just like the authentic one I had in Korea. I am eager to visit again to savor more of their delightful offerings. Highly recommended!

Servers are so friendly and the quality of sushi is very fresh. We came in late, close to 9 and asked if it was okay to be seated. They were kind and told us it was okay and not to worry. Let us know that restaurant closes at 11 but the kitchen closes at 9:30!! Will definitely be back again.

Weekday lunch time. Thank you for taking time to celebrate my birthday. Sashimi was fresh, side dishes and Maeun Tang were good. I worry about the economy because just two tables at lunch time in awsome restaurant.
